LONE

I have burst the bubble of travelling alone
And I tell you it can turn addictive

No one to please but you
No one to cheat but you
No one to nag but you
No one to fare but you

When you see things in this light
You can go ahead and treat your love right

Diversity cannot be ignored
The fate of the world hangs by that bone

There is so much to see in this forsaken world
Which when you do see is not forsaken at all

Survival the only instinct, greed the only vice
Pass through these and your world gets alive

Sit for hours
Sleep for none

Drink for hours
Eat for none

Walk for hours
Rest for none

No one around to bug you to death
The dogs here become your best friends

God gave me a mind
To think beyond life

Folks gave me education
To understand life

If I'm alone how do things change?
People behave as if I'm some renegade

Writing isn't easy the people should know
You need to think to pen something bold

What will you think in this mundane city?
Traffic, people, it’s all a big kitty

Open spaces with mountains in view
Throw a river in there and see it bloom

Embrace such beauty there is nothing bad
Do it once it might just become a fad

WOMAN

You're the one hope the world has
Bearing life is just ONE of the biggest things you do

Your quirkiness, your naughtiness
Can shake the very structure of man

Your mood swings, your tantrums
Would surely shake every man

For any lad been shattered by a woman
Cannot claim to not jump to another

Hating your kind can lead us nowhere
Gracing your kind would take us somewhere

The role of a mother, the role of a sister
Can never be replaced by any father or brother

The role of a wife, or that of a girl
Surmounts anything us thickheads have ever known

Without you we'd know not where to turn to
Without you we'd even be lost in a queue

I know my kind and it’s hard to defend
For just one thing we will pretend

The sickening atrocities you have to bear
The compassion you show in spite of that

Your kind leaves this yearning within
Here's my due to all that has been
